  The photography tour in Tuscany will encompass the very best from the region with daily photo excursions to picturesque towns and villages.  Photo opportunities will be captured while visiting Florence, Siena, Volterra, San Gimignano, Lucca, Pisa and Certaldo. We will have informative guided tours of Florence and Siena. The program is sufficiently informal to accommodate instructional lessons in the breathtaking Tuscan surroundings. 
   
Image 02 Students are encouraged and expected to take risks with their photographic self-expression and capture the story beyond the image. The relaxed instructional approach and daily critiques will motivate the photographer to build on their existing strengths, passion and creativity while viewing the world through a lens. “Learning about photography and becoming a better photographer can be a never ending process.   What we teach our participants is based on their needs, goals and aspirations. Topics we will cover include: quality and quantity of light, exposure, selective focus, composition (incorporating principles of design and elements of design), capturing a moment, telling a story.  Jack relishes the chance to incorporate personal awareness with an exciting travel opportunity in an intimate group setting. 
 
This area of Tuscany is unique in its variety of breathtaking landscapes and beauty. San Gimignano which dominates the Elsa Valley with its centuries old towers is considered one of the most charming and picturesque of all the Tuscan hill towns. 

With its wonderfully preserved squares, stunning views and lively atmosphere the town is a great place to stroll, explore and enjoy numerous masterpieces

An artist’s paradise, our residence is in a beautiful medieval stone built hamlet, perfectly situated in the heart of Tuscany, ensuring absolute peace and yet only few minutes from lively San Gimignano.  Within easy reach are Florence, Siena, Volterra, Pisa.

Ground Tour Price: $2475 EURO

Price is based on Canadian rate and may fluctuate if paid in other currencies.                             

By popular request, we have advertised internationally and priced the tour for ground only allowing
for greater flexibility for travelers to join us from an existing holiday or extend their stay beyond the workshop. 

Tour Price Includes:
All ground transportation on the tour, accommodation with gorgeous grounds, most with fully equipped kitchenettes, photography lessons, photography practice, discussions and critique sessions, excursions to typical Tuscan towns, guided tours of Florence and Siena.  The price is based on double occupancy.  Single accommodation is possible as well, based on availability at a price of $450 more.  Please book early to assure the accommodation space of your choice.

Limited to 12 participants.  Space is guaranteed at time of deposit.  Deposit is $600 CDN.
