Visit the Birthplace of the Renaissance, its amazing landscapes, artistic patrimony and culinary delights.
Our painting holiday will encompass the very best the region has to offer. We will paint around the vast and authentic Tuscan estate, the surrounding fields and vineyards and take excursions to picturesque towns
and villages. We will visit art jewels like magnificent Florence, Siena, Volterra, San Gimignano.
Instruction will be in groups as well as one on one.
There will be discussions, critique sessions and demonstrations which will cover issues on drawing, space, linear and atmospheric perspective, light, temperature, color and design. We welcome all levels from beginner to advanced and will work closely with
you to develop skills, techniques and design concepts.

This area of Tuscany is unique in its variety of breathtaking landscapes and beauty. San Gimignano which dominates the Elsa Valley with its centuries old towers is considered one of the most charming and picturesque of all the Tuscan hill towns. With its wonderfully preserved squares, stunning views and lively atmosphere the town is a great place to stroll, explore and enjoy numerous masterpieces like the works of art by Filippo Lippi, Ghirlandaio and Benozzo Gozzoli. |

Tour Price:
$4472 CDN includes all airport taxes and fuel surcharges
Tour Price Includes:
Round trip Air Fare from Toronto, ground transportation in Tuscany, transfer bus from the airport to San Gimignano and back, accommodation with gorgeous grounds, most with fully equipped kitchenettes, lessons, demonstrations, painting instruction, regular critique sessions, afternoon excursions to Florence, Siena, Volterra, Certaldo and other nearby towns with the two vans the organizers will be driving, guided tours of Florence, Siena and San Gimignano. Only meals and museum enries are not included as we would not like to limit your choices or determine your budget.
The price is based on double occupancy. Single accommodation (Private bedroom and bathroom) is possible as well, based on availability at a price of extra $576 for the whole stay and if available at the time of booking.
Non-painting companions are welcome as well with a $300 discount off the tour price.

Limited to 14 participants. Space is guaranteed at time of deposit. Deposit is $600 CDN.
